Rockland County BOCES-Practical Nursing Program
For more than 60 years, the Rockland BOCES Practical Nursing (PN) program has prepared students for a rewarding career in the healthcare industry. Our 10-month, 1,080-hour program takes the nursing student through the fundamentals of nursing, care of the elderly, anatomy and physiology, medical surgical nursing, mental health, pediatrics and maternity nursing as its core courses. Supervised clinical experiences are provided in local hospitals, medical offices and long-term care facilities.
