Electrical Power Testing Level I
The Electrical Power Testing certification program is for technicians who test equipment used in the production, transmission, and distribution of electrical power. These technicians are engaged in inspection, testing, and periodic maintenance of electrical power equipment, and evaluation of such equipment for acceptance for service, continued serviceability, or required maintenance.
CertificationHighway Construction Inspection Level I
The Highway Construction Inspection certification program is designed for engineering technicians who are responsible to the engineer-in-charge for inspection functions on highway construction projects. The scope of the program includes field inspection; their applications to various construction activities, equipment, and products, and general work zone operations; interpretation of contract plans and specifications; project record keeping and reporting; and supervisory functions.
CertificationInspection and Testing of Fire Alarm Systems Level I
This certification program is for engineering technicians engaged in the performance, documentation, planning, and coordination of periodic inspection and testing of existing fire alarm systems and their components (does not include commissioning of new systems).
CertificationInspection and Testing of Water-Based Systems Level I
The Inspection and Testing of Water-Based Systems certification program is for engineering technicians engaged in the inspection and testing of existing water-based fire protection systems, including identifying and addressing emergency and pre-planned impairments.
CertificationSpecial Hazards Systems
The Special Hazards Systems certification program is designed for engineering technicians engaged in the design and layout and/or installation and maintenance related to special hazards suppression systems.
